I spent the past week in a town called Eagle Pass, TX visiting my mom and some of her relatives. Eagle Pass is not like what you would consider a normal town. Being in Eagle Pass is like being in Mexico. I would say that it's about 95% Mexican. I love being there because the culture is totally different then the little mountain town of Cascade that has been my home for the past couple of years, but man was I having some culture shock! I went from India to Cascade and then to Mexi-ville, Texas. My brain doesn't really know what to think or how I should feel. haha Overall I had a great time reminiscing about the years I spent living in Texas.

One bonus of being on the border means good Mexican food! I had a list of places I wanted to eat and my mom blessed me by taking me to those places.

I enjoyed yummy tacos from a place called Kiki's Tacos...

I enjoyed eating a cup of fruit with chili and lime...

I enjoyed eating a cup of white corn with mayo, butter, and goat cheese....

You may all now think I'm gross, but these things are sooo good! :)
